Spring. School's over. Summer Begins

Wow, time is FLYING by! Racing everyday, getting to school, work, sports and fun!
This spring Hannah and Josh started Tae Kwon Do and Josh tested for his yellow belt this weekend and got it!

Hannah graduated from Senior Kindergarten and will be starting Grade ONE in Sept! Yikes!!
Josh finished Grade 3 as well.  Great show kids!

Since we live in the country, there are a TON of farms on our doorsteps. Every year we pick lots of local and wild fruit to eat, and make into jam. YUM! We start out with strawberries, of course. We also do raspberries, blueberries and this year we'll also do apples. Hannah and I have also gone wild raspberry picking just down the road and gathered a large bowl full. What a treat for Cherrios in the morning, luckily the season has just started and we can't wait to get back to our secret patch. :0)

Crazy Strawberry Gang!  Rrrrroarrrr!!!

What else has gone on since April....  ??? Spring RAIN!

And who can forget.... THE WORLD CUP!!! Uncle James and Aunt Jenny sent AWESOME ENGLAND gear to wear!! We also got noise makers, face paints, clappers, England Flag and England Beach Ball! We were all set to watch the Beautiful Game!  We even went to school on our last Dress Down Day in our new England Jerseys!!   (shhh... when this photo was taken, we didn't know how it would end... Bad Bad FIFA and that terrible disallowed goal!!! grrrr... we are still fuming in our house!!!)   (shhhhhhh... we don't mention team Germany at all..... shhhh!!!!)

Yes, we have slippers on our heads... don't ask.....

But that hasn't stopped us from playing soccer for fun.  I'll get some of  J-man soon, but here is Hannah thoroughly enjoying her soccer Tuesdays! She LOVES this game.  So does Josh... I think we are Footie Mad in the Green House!
